What is Community Supported Agriculture?
Community supported agriculture is a means for a connection to be made between your dinner table and our vegetable gardens. Buying directly from our farm through the csa model allows you to know exactly where your food comes from. You can be sure that it hasn't been sprayed with any synthetic chemicals or fertilizers as we practice 100 percent all natural methods. Most of the items that are packed into the weekly csa boxes are harvested the exact same day that you receive your box. This allows for the absolute freshest produce possible in which you will be able to taste the difference. We grow over 60 different vegetables and fruits in order supply a diverse arrangement of produce from June through December. In 2006 we had 36 members in the summer csa (june-september) and 43 in the winter csa (oct-december. We hope to increase membership to 55 members for the 2007 growing season. We will be taking new members starting December 1st. Check back for detailed information on signing up then. Typical cost for a csa box is $23 per week, we also have an everyother week option during the summer.
