2012 CSA members are all invited to attend our farm events.  These events are a great chance to meet your farmers, see where your food is grown, and to celebrate the local harvest. Specific dates will be posted in the spring.

May 2012 – Market and ‘Maters Come meet Mike, Cassie, and Zea at our farmer’s market stand a few weeks before the CSA season begins. You’ll get to pick out your very own tomato seedling to take home and plant.

June 2012- Tour and Strawberry Pick Take a tour of the farm and experience the fun of picking your own strawberries. Bring the whole family! The tour starts at 3p.m. There is a longer info-dense tour and a shorter kid tour. Strawberry picking begins after the tours.

August  August 2012 -  Corn Boil and Member Potluck We’ll have a tour of the farm and then we’ll all share in a feast together!  Members are asked to bring a dish to pass and we’ll boil up some sweet corn. We’ll share a meal family style in the barn! Starts at 5:30 pm.

September 2012 – Annual Harvest Party Come celebrate the end of a wonderful season. We’ll party in the blue pack-shed at our farm in Cross Plains.  It’s a potluck, so please bring a dish to pass. We’ll provide local cider and live music.  After the music is over, we’ll continue the party with a bonfire and some singing and playing of our own. Bring your instrument and a tent if you like. Folks are welcome to camp out at the farm. Starts at 6:30 pm.
